ABOUT THE 2021 GLOBAL PRIZE RECIPIENT
Congratulations to Apratim Pal who has been named the 2021 Photography 4 Humanity Global Prize Recipient. Apratim’s photo “A Thirsty Earth” captures both the environmental and human costs of the escalating climate crisis in West Bengal India. Apratim’s work, along with that of the Top 10 Finalists were exhibited and discussed at a special event held at Fotografiska New York on UN Human Rights Day - December 10, 2021.
In addition, the United Nations published the exhibition globally on UN.org.
